The nine days-eight nights' itinerary of Yangtze Victoria Cruises from Shanghai to Yichang is newly launched Yangtze River tourist line. This itinerary will give passengers full time to enjoy the beautiful and wonderful scenery and custom along the Yangtze River.

Day 1 Depart Shanghai

15:00-16:00: Shanghai Port check-in and pre-board

17:00: Depart Shanghai, China's dynamic international commercial center.

Day 2 Nanjing

08:00: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

09:00-09:30: Announcement on itinerary and facilities on board

13:00-17:00: Shore excursion to Nanjing, where you will tour the Ming Dynasty City Wall Museum and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple.

18:00: Welcome banquet held by captain

20:00: Dancing & Singing performance

Day 3 Huangshan

07:00-07:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

08:00-17:30: Excursion to Huangshan, one of China's most famous mountain ranges. Travel to this royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas. (Jiuhuashan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)

Day 4 Wuhan

07:00-07:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

09:30-11:00: Culture activities on board

14:00-17:30 Excursion to Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province. Visit Guqin Terrace, which commemorates an ancient legend of the friendship between Yu Boya, a famous official and musician and Zhong Ziqi, a woodcutter.

Day 5 Sailing on the Yangtze River

08:00-08:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

10:0-16:00: Culture activities on board

Day 6 Yichang/Xiling Gorge/Three Gorges Dam/Ship Locks

In the morning, sail through Gezhouba Dam near Yichang, in the afternoon, visit the Three Gorges Dam, the largest in the world. Sail through Xiling Gorge, the longest, and the deepest of the Three Gorges. Later today, enter the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Day 7 Wu Gorge/Qutang Gorge/Daning River "Lesser Three Gorges"

06:30: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

06:30-09:00: Sail through the Wu Gorge, known for its quiet beauty and forest-covered mountains.

09:00-13:00: Wushan-shore excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges, but very impressive.

14:30-15:00: Sail through the Qutang Gorge, which is the shortest, narrowest and most dramatic gorge.

Day 8 Fengdu

07:00: Breakfast and Morning Coffee

09:00-11:30: Shore excursion to Fengdu, visiting either the "Ghost City", known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan hill, or the new relocation village, built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze's rising water brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

14:00-16:00: Cultural activities and Conference time

18:00: Farewell Dinner

Day 9 Arrive at Chongqing

08:00: Disembark at picturesque Chongqing, the "Mountain City".
