Notes for Three Gorges Tour

The Three Gorges is famous scenic area on the Yangtze River. If you have a Three Gorges tour by taking Yangtze Cruise, there are some notes which will be helpful in your tour.

When you taking Yangtze Cruise to visit the Three Gorges (Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorges), you can enjoy the scenery of Three Gorges and the scenic spot in this area (Goddess Peak) on the ship, and there is not ticket for the scenic spots. But the point to enjoy these scenic spots is very important. So, it is very important to notice the broadcast on the ship and the suggestions which the staffs on the ship give to you.

You can take shore excursion to some sight spots in Three Gorges area, like the Fengdu Ghost City, Zhang Fei Temple, Shibaozhai, Lesser Three Gorges, White Emperor City,Qu Yuan Temple, Shennong Stream, Three Gorges Dam, Yueyang Tower, Jinjiang Ancient Town (different Yangtze Cruise will arrange different sight spots in upstream and down stream). During shore excursion, please follow the broadcast on the ship and guides' suggestions. And please remember the place where the ship stop and the departure time, and go back to the ship on time.

Please take care of yourself and your belongings in the tour. In your Three Gorges Tour, please carefully take care of your children. When you leave your cabin, please take your valuables with you, and close the door.

When you visit the Fengdu Ghost City, you can take the ropeway or not based on your condition.

There are many stairs in many sight spots in shore excursion activities. So you are kindly suggested to dress comfortable and suitable shoes in your Three Gorges tour.

The weather in Three Gorges area is changeable. So the rain gear is necessary in Three Gorges tour.

When you enjoy the Three Gorges scenery on the ship, the river wind is strong; you are suggested to prepare some thin sweater or coat in spring and autumn. In winter, temperature in Three Gorges area is very cold; the thick clothes are needed, like down coat and so on. In summer, you are suggested to bring sunglasses and sun cream.

Some foods on Yangtze Cruise are expensive. So you can buy some foods (like snacks, wines, mineral water and so on) before boarding.
