Three Gorges Dam is Globally Soliciting Mascot

There is no mascot about the magnificent Three Gorges Dam, deep gorge and quiet lake. From now on, Three Gorges Dam scenic area carries out mascot selection activities. Selected works will get 5000 RMB as reward.

It is introduced by relevant person in charge of Yangtze Three Gorges Tourism Company that the appearance and design name of mascot should show the features and cultural connotation of Three Gorges Dam, full of tourism development value, easy for recreation and diffusion in other media, be suitable for the development of animation products, like Plush Toys, office supplies and so on.

The whole activity can be divided into three stages: manuscripts solicitation period, voting period and final period. The deadline for manuscripts solicitation is June 30th in this year. Participants can contribute on the official website of Three Gorges Dam Tourism or Letu Website, or take part in the activity by twitter. Participants only need to upload the work @ Three Gorges Tourism. From July 1st to August 1st, the contribute works will receive internet vote by other people. The first 50 works will come into final competition, and obtain one ticket of Three Gorge Dam scenic area and one ticket of camping base. At last, the mascot which selected by expert jury will get 5000 RMB reward. And the final result will be published on official website of Three Gorges Tourism and Letu website at August 15th.
